We'll be the first to admit: planning a wedding is not rocket science.
However, just like anything worth doing - having experience makes all the difference in the world. We’re not lawyers or doctors, but a lot of our clients are – and just as we would go to them for our contracts or our health, they come to us for our experience in planning and executing a flawless wedding.
All we do is weddings, and as of the end of 2018, we’ve done over 125 of them! Let our expertise work for you, from start to finish. Let us do all the time-consuming, boring, anxiety-inducing research. We have a tried-and-true planning system where we lay out options for our couples, letting them do all the fun parts of planning - while we take care of the not-so-fun stuff like logistics, vendor management, timelines, and execution.
Take a look below to see how we only work with the best, only design weddings that feel true to our couples, and execute weddings that feel timeless yet modern, all at the same time. You'll see just what it takes to plan a wedding, and why doing it with us in your corner is going to help you actually enjoy the process - and still be excited about your big day when it arrives!
"The day of the wedding went very smoothly and we have Margaux and her team to thank for that. I had nothing to worry about on my dream wedding day and that's all a bride can ask for. "
"She is so organized and professional and totally dialed in to all things wedding. We interviewed many and briefly even had hired someone else and Margaux is a class of her own, so don't bother looking around. Bottom line - she is an expert on all things wedding - and when you come up with some weird whim (family style and a table garland? non traditional photo booth? custom wedding invite that's cheaper than the fancy off-the-racks?) she makes it happen."
"And even though our wedding had a lot of moving pieces and locations, the day couldn't have been more perfect. Margaux is an extremely resourceful and creative problem-solver who is the perfect combination of collaborative and "take charge".
We highly recommend Margaux!"
"Margaux not only helped me accomplish this but also made it beautiful and memorable. There were so many things that I just didn't know how to navigate, didn't think about, or thought were outside of what I could deal with but with Margaux on my side, everything went smoothly. She had great recommendations for vendors and found an awesome location that was just right for us. Best of all she was an intermediary between me and those vendors when there were things that were confusing, and keep them on target."
Weddings make people do and say strange things. Between family, bridal party, co-workers and friends, couples are dealing with over 30 people on a regular basis (and their opinions).
Too many cooks
According to WeddingWire.com, couples in
Los Angeles spent on average $13k more than they anticipated on their wedding, mostly because they just didn't know what things cost.
budget concerns
According to recent surveys on Bridebook.com
and TheKnot.com, couples can spend nearly
950 hours planning a wedding. That's 121 minutes spent planning every 1 minute of the wedding day.
Time investment
Most couples will send an average of
over 1,000 emails with vendors + venues during the course of wedding planning, most of this while at work.
email overload

We know what you're thinking: 'That all sounds great, but what do you mean by, 'starting at $4500?'. What do we get for that, and why would your pricing be different for everyone?" These are all great questions - ones that really inspired us to make this entire welcome page and put all our cards on the table for our prospective clients. No two weddings are the same, and because of that we always make custom packages for our full planning + design clients. All the answers are below.
Our starting price is based on these factors: A wedding with 100 people or less, with both ceremony and reception at the same venue (which has already been booked), and basic timeline, decor and logistic needs.
Depending on your specific event, the package price increases from the starting price based on these factors, which affect staffing, difficulty level, timing + hours to plan, and other planning parameters. Because no two weddings are alike, we want to ensure you get exactly what you need, and also that you don't pay for what you don't. Scroll over the photos below to learn more:
A final, fleshed out design bible for your event is confirmed and utilized by all vendors to ensure design cohesion throughout the wedding day.
The answers from your interview are used to render a mood board, which then gets refined through feedback during the planning process.
Our first planning meeting involves a conversational interview, where we get to know everything about you as a couple, your event and design preferences.
Harmony Creative Studio wants everyone to have the wedding of their dreams. We also do not discriminate and welcome all faiths, nationalities, sexual orientations, races and ages. That being said, there are a few types of weddings that we have made the decision as a company not to plan for one reason or another. We are happy to point you to a planner who specializes in these types of weddings, and who we know you will have an amazing experience with:
Additionally, Harmony Creative Studio gives annually to causes we believe in, including the ASPCA, the Breast Cancer Research Fund, The Alzheimer's Association and The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Due to this, we are unable to discount our services or offer them for trade at this time, as that would cut into the funds we set aside for these worthwhile charities.
